Allison's Pre-K Graduation

Allison graduated preschool yesterday! Congratulations to her! She is such a big girl now and is ready for kindergarten. I can't believe she's that big already and I am gonna have to learn to let go of my baby! They expect you to drop them off at the front doors for school after two days of class! Really? I guess my baby is growing up now and is going to learn her independence. As long as she still gives us hugs and kisses we'll be okay for now. Here are some of her pictures from graduation. We have more but it looks like she's gonna cry cause one of her friends popped her finger right when she went in to sit down. Poor girl. She perked up after dancing the hoe-down with her partner!

Visit from Aunt Cindy and Uncle Steve

We had a great time with Aunt Cindy and Uncle Steve the holiday weekend. Thank you so much for coming to visit. I know Allison enjoyed it because she is totally in love with her Aunt Cindy..she was sad when she left. Thank you Cindy for playing so much, I am sure you were exhausted when you got home. We look forward to seeing you guys soon!

A couple more

Jake PIctures

Jake is getting big! We tried to weigh him in the scale at home and it said he weighed 16 and a half pounds! WOW! You would think this boy could work on sleeping through the night a missing a bottle, but he is a food lover and doesn't go to long at night still. He just doesn't want to give it up. He has found his hands and he thinks they are just amazing! He just hold them infront on his face and stares! He also plays with them and touches them together all of the time. He is working on grasping and reaching for the toys infront of him. He is working really hard at it. We have also been working on our tummy time, but this hasnt been too successful cause he is to busy licking the sheets forming a nice big drool spot on the blanket. He is a sweet sweet boy, especially waking up from his naps, he opens his eyes and flashes you a big big smile! I put some pictures of Jake up here, they are all at about 2 and a half months.

Jake by the pool

More Mother's Day photos

Mother's Day Photos

We went to Possum Kingdom Lake for Mother's day and had a wonderful time! Allison made great advances by hiking up to Johnson's Peak (with no complaining), she touched a bug (for a short time, a rolly poly), put on a lifejacket which she swore she would never do and rode in the boat!!! The girl is growing up. Jake is doing a lot better with his thickened milk, no more aspirating! They both had their first day by the pool! Here are some photos!

Jacob's 2 Month Doctor's Visit

Well, Jake is doing great and hitting all his milestones! He weighs 14 pounds 3 ounces!!! He really is a beast! The doctor said that he looked great and that he was healthy. I am excited cause he said that they now let babies eat baby food at 4 months!! That's always a fun time. The doctor did confirm my thought that Jake might be aspirating his milk during his feedings. He put him on Simply Thick Nectar to thicken the milk in his bottles. It is working so far great, we will see how it goes. He got some of his shots yesterday and was pretty pathetic last night wimpering, but he seems to feel better this morning!

This morning I was feeding him and he was taking he time savoring it and he looked up at me, smiled and gave a big coo. He really trying to communicate with us. Here are some pictures...He has a doctor's appointment Monday so we can see how he's doing and how big he is now.
